Scholarship information
The Cook Family Undergraduate Scholarship aims to provide financial support to students majoring in the BA/BS Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership programs.
Undergraduate scholarships shall be awarded to multiple in-state students, must be a SCETL major, remain in good standing and be making satisfactory progress toward degree, and have demonstrated financial need.
Donor’s preference is for the recipient(s) to have graduated from a charter high school.
Award amounts shall be determined by the recipient’s class and are as follows: a) Freshman: $3,000; b) Sophomore: $4,000; c) Junior: $5,000; and d) Senior: $6,000. Funds can be used to support any SCETL related activity, e.g. research trip, GIE, internship, books, conferences, SCETL course fees, etc.
All Cook Family Scholarship recipients will engage in one special academic event per semester, e.g. a seminar on a shared text.
