Job Description

Georgia Tech Research Institute's (GTRI) Support Services Department (SSD) currently seeks a student assistant to start the summer 2021 semester. The student will work under the guidance of the Construction Project Manager to perform the following activities: escorting vendors through the facilities, create and maintain spreadsheets, update department's manuals and files in addition to other duties as assigned.  

Required Minimum Qualifications

Student Assistant/Research Assistant

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field
• Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours.
• Must have a 2.0 or higher GPA
• Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong organizational skills
• This job requires operating or maintaining standard office equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office and other operating systems
• Task/team leadership experience
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Morning and/or early-afternoon availability preferred, flexible hours

Hours per Week

20 hours per week

U.S. Citizenship Requirements

Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.
