Job Description Summary

This position will facilitate workshop trainings, which will help improve school readiness and parent involvement. Develop curriculum for trainings. Facilitate parent/community conversations, workshops, and focus groups with diverse groups to share information and resources as well as collect information that will inform the planning and implementation. Attend day, evening, and weekend community meetings as needed. Uses an asset-based community development model to develop relationships of trust and mutual respect with civic, religious, and social organizations.
BC Full-time Employee, will be paid based on hours and degree (Zone Supplement)
BC Adjunct Employee, will be paid $22.00/hr based on the SEIU Collective Bargaining Agreement
External Applicant, will be paid $25.00/hr (Category: Workforce Training)

     

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR a valid Florida Teacher's Certificate in a core curriculum area and three (3) years of related experience. Master’s degree preferred.
