Scholarship information

Through the generous support of Alumni donors from the greater Washington, D.C. area, a fund has been established by the ASU Alumni Association's National Capital Chapter to make an award of up to $2,000 to an outstanding young student from the National Capital Region who will be attending Arizona State University in the upcoming academic year. The award will be based on evidence of academic success, and a strong commitment to community and school service.

Additional criteria: 

Applicant must:

- Be a current high school student residing in the National Capital region (Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia)

- Be admitted to ASU for Fall 2024 and enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (at least 12 credit hours in Fall 2024) and enrolled in an undergraduate initial baccalaureate degree at any ASU campus

-Show evidence of academic success, community service, and school involvement


Donor preferences: 

The ASU Alumni National Capital Chapter plans to recognize the selected scholarship recipient at the Sun Devil Send-Off this summer. If you are selected, please plan to participate in the event.
