Position Summary

This position will focus on investigation of viral structural proteins as an antiviral target with HBV and SARS-CoV2. This scientist will focus on studies of self-assembly. Experience with biophysics, structural biology, or medicinal chemistry will be especially sought after.

Basic Qualifications

Seeking self-motivated, independent, and intellectually curious individuals who by the time of appointment should have PhDs in virology, structural biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Applicants for either position must have strong bench skills, and familiarity with techniques such as protein purification, protein chemistry, fluorescence, and electron microscopy (though training in these techniques will also be provided as necessary). This position is initially available for 12 months, with possible extension for a further three years. Salary will be commensurate with experience, and full benefits are included.
