The Early Outreach Scholarship (EOS) program endorses ASU students as role models for K-12th grade students. Scholarship recipients “give back” by promoting a college going culture to their own high schools, other schools, and community organizations throughout Arizona. Recipients are required to complete 100 unpaid service hours throughout the academic year as an Access ASU Outreach Ambassador.

Additional criteria: 

Must be an alumni or participant of an Access ASU signature program while in 8th – 12th grade: WeGrad, RISE Leadership Institute, Barrett Summer Scholars, Cesar Chavez Leadership Institute, Future Sun Devil Family Days, HMDP, GEAR UP, Summer Experiences at West, Poly, or Downtown, or Access ASU Campus Experiences.
· Must have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0.
· Completion of 30 credit hours per academic year towards undergraduate degree.
· Must have a strong desire to help Arizona students prepare for college.
· Uphold a high standard of principles when representing the university on and off campus.
· Expected to perform responsibilities of an EOS recipient for a full academic year (August-May) .
· Must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid completed or in progress with the University’s Student Financial Aid Office.
· Must complete projects and reports as assigned.
· Admitted as a fulltime student at ASU

Renewal Requirments:
All scholarships are subject to annual renewal. Recipients must re-apply to the Early Outreach Scholarship each year in the ASU Scholarship Portal. Renewals are not guaranteed.
In order to be considered for renewal, current Early Outreach Scholars must:
· Must maintain good academic standing with ASU
· Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
· Be enrolled at ASU as a Full-Time student
· Complete a minimum of 100 service hours for the 2022-2023 academic year
