Duties and Responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Departmental Tutor in History, to ensure that transition, support and welfare processes for c.900 History taught students (both undergraduate and postgraduate) run smoothly and effectively throughout the academic year.
The key responsibilities of the role are to provide administrative support in relation to student casework and the 'Extenuating Circumstances' (EC) process;  support in relation to 'Statements of Reasonable Adjustments' (SORAs); collating relevant casework documentation for the Departmental Tutor in advance of examination boards; to provide assistance with open days and 'widening access' activities; administrative support of the personal tutoring system. 


This post is funded to 30 September 2022 (in the first instance).
Key Requirements
Proven experience in role/s which involve supporting others, preferably in an educational setting; Experience of working to multiple deadlines and working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders; Able to communicate with individuals from all backgrounds using a variety of communication platforms and systems.
