An exciting opportunity has arisen at University College Birmingham to join our Finance and Information Services team. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, customer-focused person to support the student finance function.
The successful applicant will work with students to encourage application and assist in the process of application to the Student Loans Company (SLC). You will assist in the preparation of communications to students to ensure they are fully informed of the requirements to have loans in place to cover tuition fees.
You will be responsible for ensuring that Student Loans Company (SLC) accounts are correctly and promptly updated to ensure cash flows to both the students and the University are facilitated and that academic records are up-to-date and accurate to facilitate in securing funding.
You will have experience of working in a similar role, whilst experience of working in the area of Higher Education Student Finance is desirable, but not essential as training will be given. You will also have experience of working with customers in a fast-paced environment.
Closing Date: Friday 4 February 2022 at midday.
