Salary from £37,197 to £44,802 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £48,168pa inclusive of London allowance

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social science

Based within the Student Services Centre (SSC), you will be a senior member of a team committed to providing an outstanding level of advice and guidance, to ensure LSE’s student body remain engaged with their studies and the institution is compliant with the requirements of the UKVI. These rewarding posts in the newly formed Student Advice and Engagement Team are an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in student advice and engagement within a Higher Education context.

You will be highly motivated, effective and an excellent communicator; possessing strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team.

You will excel in a fast-paced student focused administrative environment and be able to effectively manage both your own varied workload, as well as that of your team, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to resolve issues daily.

You will also support our ethos of continuous improvement and ensure we continue to provide an excellent level of service across all division functions. To achieve your aims, and to support the work of Student Services overall, you will work closely with colleagues from within Student Services, the Academic Registrar’s Division and more widely across the LSE.

Previous experience of working within Higher Education administration is preferable and a working knowledge of SITS or similar databases is essential.
