Academic requirements
Applicants must hold, or expect to achieve a Masters at Merit level, including 65% overall average, 65% in dissertation and no mark below 55%

Current PhD students are NOT eligible for PDS.

Offer holders of the School's PhD programmes starting in September are automatically considered for this funding - no further application is required.

Applications will be ranked by the Department and School based on academic track record and quality of research proposal

Candidates need to have been offered a place on the PhD programme for September entry by Wednesday 1 February 2023 at the latest . Please note that late applications will not be included in the competition.
