Please note that in the event that you withdraw from the Programme at any time prior to completion of the PhD, you may be required to pay back, at University's discretion, the maintenance stipend received on a pro-rata basis.

Normally, distinction or 1st class, in exceptional cases, high-merit will be considered.

There are three rounds of admissions deadlines for candidates in Economics. The deadlines are:
- Round 1: 6 January 2020
- Round 2: 6 March 2020
- Round 3: 15 June 2020
Please be aware that decisions on applications will not be made until after each round deadline
If you wish to be considered for ESRC/NWDTC funding then you MUST have submitted your complete programme application before the January 2020 deadline.
