A vacancy for a Research Technician has become available at the Bristol Royal Infirmary working with Professor Paolo Madeddu.
You will provide technical support in order to meet the specific research objectives of the new NIHR funded Cardiovascular BRU project. Specifically, you will provide technical support to the Research Assistant and PI for the clinical grade scale-up of a standard operating protocol for isolation and expansion and quality control of pericytes progenitors from human saphenous vein.
You will perform extraction, immunomagnetic separation and culture expansion of cells using serum free and clinical grade products.
This appointment is offered on a fixed-term contract for two years.
