An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly adaptable individual to provide a professional, supportive and efficient point of contact service to students in the College of Business and Social Sciences via the on-campus Reception point and an on-line Service Management system.

Working closely with the College Office team, you will provide a wide range of administrative support, including covering a professional student reception, reviewing, categorising and responding to queries within an on-line Service Management system, arranging and note-taking at meetings and creating, maintaining and sharing general College office information. You will also assist with monitoring stationary stocks and ensuring maintenance of the physical office environment. The role also acts as a link between the College and central teams in all matters relating to Blackboard (our virtual learning environment) including auditing the information on display to ensure compliance with approved templates and requirements. You will also be expected to support key College Office activities, including induction, enrolment and examination boards.

Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with at least a Grade C in Maths and English, you will have experience of working in a busy office environment in a customer facing role. Excellent written and verbal skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Excellent IT skills are also essential, preferably with knowledge and experience of working with an on-line Service Management system and Blackboard.
