Postdoctoral Position in Biomedical Engineering/Psychiatric Disorders

We are seeking highly motivated candidates who received PhD recently or in the near future to join a multidisciplinary team at MOE Frontier Science Center for Brain Science and Brain-Machine Integration and Affiliated Mental Health Center, Zhejiang University.

The position has a fixed term of 2 years, with possible prolongation for another 2 years or a promotion to faculty positions.

The hosting PI is Dr. Haiteng Jiang (https://sites.google.com/site/haitengjiang ).

The goal is to integrate experimental design, computational modelling, machine learning, multi-modal brain imagining (e.g., MEG/EEG/ECOG/SEEG, MRI, DTI) and neuromodulation techniques (e.g., rTMS, tDCS and tACS) to study cognition and neurological disorders (e.g., major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and sleep disorder) with the aims of advancing system neuroscience and developing translational applications.

Successful candidates are expected to have a strong background with PhD in biomedical engineering, computational neuroscience, psychiatry or a related field. Strong interest and demonstrated experience in experimental investigation or analyzing of biomedical or clinical data are desired. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and outstanding writing skills are essential. Candidates with research expertise in any of the following areas are welcome to apply.
