Oxford-Ullendorff Graduate Scholarship in Semitic Philology

The Oxford-Ullendorff Graduate Scholarship in Semitic Philology is available for applicants who are ordinarily resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland and who are applying to the MSt Classical Hebrew Studies.

The scholarships have been funded through the support of the University and the late Mrs Dina Ullendorff in memory of her husband, Professor Edward Ullendorff. Professor Ullendorff was a renowned authority on Semitic languages and a long term member of Wolfson College.

The scholarship covers course fees at the Home rate and a grant for living costs. Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course.

The scholarship is only tenable at Wolfson College. All eligible applicants will be considered for this scholarship, regardless of which college (if any) you state as your preference on the graduate application form. However, successful applicants will be transferred to Wolfson College in order to take up the scholarship.

Selection is expected to take place in April 2024.
