Oxford-Carolyn and Franco Gianturco Graduate Scholarship
The Oxford-Carolyn and Franco Gianturco Graduate Scholarship is available for applicants who are applying for a course within the Faculty of Music (with a preference for the DPhil in Music).
The scholarship have been made possible by Carolyn Gianturco, who completed her DPhil in Musicology at the University of Oxford under the guidance of Sir Jack Westrup in 1970. Together with her husband Franco Gianturco, they have generously endowed this scholarship at Linacre College to advance research in the music field.
The scholarship covers course fees and a grant for living costs. Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course.
The scholarship is only tenable at Linacre College. All eligible applicants will be considered for the scholarship, regardless of which college (if any) you state as your preference on the graduate application form. However, successful applicants will be transferred to Linacre College in order to take up the scholarship.
To be considered for this scholarship you must be ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland. The scholarship covers course fees at the Home rate only for 2022-23 entry.
Selection is expected to take place in April 2022.
