An exceptional opportunity to undertake a fully funded post-graduate MSc degree (fees and monthly stipend) in Radio Frequency (RF) Sensors. You will investigate cutting-edge solutions in the area of RF sensors, with emphasis on Antenna Phased Array Beamforming Techniques applied to Multi-Beam missile radar seekers.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a first or second class UK honours degree or equivalent in a related discipline. This project would suit graduates in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Maths and Physics who are looking for funded postgraduate opportunities to work on a cutting edge defence and security research project.

Good interpersonal and communication (oral and written in English) skills are also required.


Funding

Sponsored by Leonardo UK under the Weapons Sector Research Framework (WSRF). This studentship will provide a bursary of 15,000 (tax free) plus fees* for one year             

* To be eligible for this funding, applicants must be a UK national and have been resident in the UK for the last five years.
