• Annual maintenance stipend equivalent to UKRI minimum stipend

These studentships are open to all nationalities and will be of interest to students who want to research pure mathematics, probability, data science, and quantum information.

To be considered for this award you must:

• Hold (or be about to obtain) upper second class honours undergraduate degree (or international equivalent) in pure mathematics, probability, data science, and quantum information or a related discipline.

This funding is available to all nationalities.

Applicants must hold an offer of study at The University of Manchester before applying for this funding.

Apply for a place on a relevant PhD programme of your choice prior to the advertised funding application deadline.Specify in your application form that you want to be considered for the ‘Heilbronn Doctoral Partnership’ (funding section).

Once all your supporting documents have been received, your application will be reviewed and, if satisfactory, you'll be invited to interview. The Postgraduate Research Committee will then select successful applicants.

Applications are now closed for 23/24 entry and will re-open later in the year for 24/25 entry.
