About the Role

We seek a GP to join our award-winning and dedicated team of academic educators committed to inspiring the next generation of the primary care workforce.

Supervised and supported by CBME senior team, you will be expected to:

  • Contribute to the innovative design, review and delivery of CBME clinical placements, including materials and assessments and tutor training in line with our new, inclusive MBBS curriculum.
  • Take a key role in GP placement quality assurance.
  • Contribute to the wider MBBS & PA programmes through teaching, assessment, and citizenship.
  • Show promise as a scholar through evaluation, research presentations, higher qualifications, and publications.
  • The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is a part-time 0.5 FTE permanent appointment/fixed term appointment for one year, with an expected start date of February 2024. The starting salary will be SP9-11 on the non-consultant clinical academic scale, in the range of £55,336 - £65,955 per annum (pro-rata) depending on experience, with London Allowance.

    About You

    You must hold a medical degree, MRCGP, be GMC registered and have recent GP experience. We would support candidates with a clear commitment to a career in medical education.
