Postdoctoral researcher positions are open in the Laboratory of Metabolism and Cancer at Koç University. Available projects address metabolic impacts of tumors on host tissues. Laboratory of Metabolism and Cancer utilizes molecular biology approaches, primary cell culture techniques, mouse tumor models and clinical sample analysis to dissect molecular mechanisms behind tumor signaling to adipose and skeletal muscle tissues. Current work focuses on the roles of tumor-derived factors in energy wasting and the importance of the involved signaling pathways in the etiology of the wasting syndrome (For details, please visit the laboratory website at https://sklab.ku.edu.tr/ ). Applicants must hold a PhD degree in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or related fields. To apply, please send a cover letter summarizing your research interests and past research accomplishments along with your CV and contact information for at least 3 references to: skir@ku.edu.tr |
