You are a student at the University of Basel, have very good data handling skills (ideally with Excel and at least one of the programming languages Python, Julia or R) and an interest in energy economic topics. You are willing to work independently, have very good English language skills.

The applicant should demonstrate programming skills in Python (or a similar language), with the following features considered desirable:

  • Data checks, cleaning, and merging (e.g., in pandas package)
  • Data summary and visualization (e.g., in pandas, plotly or seaborn packages)
  • Software collaboration (e.g., Jupyter notebooks, GitHub)
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills
