Updated: almost 2 years ago
Deadline: The position may have been removed or expired!

The Finke laboratory (https://biomedizin.unibas.ch/en/research/research-groups/finke-lab/ ) is seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate and an early postdoctoral researcher to investigate tissue-specific immune function of innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) in health and disease. The successful candidate will focus on delineating the role of MHCII+ ILC3 in regulating memory CD4 T cell responses using mouse infection models (see also: Nature communications, 11, 1794. doi: 10.1038/s41467-020-15612-2.) and join an enthusiastic team of scientists who are curious to understand ILC3 development and tissue-specific immune responses. The candidate's research on ILC-centred immunoregulatory networks and ILC interactions with other immune cells will make use of state-of-the-art facilities of the Department of Biomedicine (flow and mass cytometry, genomic, proteomic, light microscopy, bioinformatics, etc.), and take advantage of the open collaborative environment of the Department.
