The Neuromuscular Research Group, Departments of Neurology and Biomedicine, University Hospital Basel and University of Basel is looking for a scientist with interest in Neuromuscular Diseases. Main focus of our research is the development of pathophysiologically based treatment strategies for muscular dystrophies.
- Optimization and validation of identified lead compounds
- Biochemical assays, cell culture, RNA isolation, qPCR, mouse work, histological techniques, muscle force measurements
- PhD in molecular biology or medicinal chemistry
- Motivated, Independent, Team player
- Responsible and versatile tasks in a dynamic research group
- Support by excellent technical staff
