For the Laboratory of Atmospheric Chemistry we are looking for a

PhD Student

on organic aerosols and impacts on health

Your tasks

  • PhD thesis at ETH Zurich, Switzerland
  • Perform filter offline measurements of atmospheric particulate matter in Europe with aerosol mass spectrometry and extractive electrospray mass spectrometry
  • Contribution to measurements of the health relevant oxidation potential of particulate matter
  • Statistical analyses of the data (especially source apportionment) and interpretation in the context of health impacts
  • Write and contribute to high quality peer-reviewed publications
  • Support the laboratory including campaigns of other students / postdocs
