PhD position in Macroeconomics


The research group of Macroeconomics (Prof. Lein) of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Basel invites applications for a PhD position.
 
Starting date: September 1, 2022 or by agreement.


Your position
You will have the opportunity to carry out innovative research in empirical macroeconomics (individually and as part of a dynamic team) and work as a teaching assistant in monetary economics and macroeconomics.


Your profile
We seek a highly motivated individual who holds a Master degree in economics or related fields and is interested in macroeconomics, monetary economics, and/or international economics. Interest in and some experience with working with large datasets in Stata, R, or Python is desirable. Fluency in English is a requirement.
