Professor Médéric Diard
(Biozentrum, University of Basel) is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to study the dynamics of intestinal colonization, adaptation and transmission of multiresistant clinical isolates of Esherichia coli.

The Diard Lab at Basel University's Biozentrum is a young and international team with expertise in experimental evolution and molecular biology of bacteria. Its mission is to understand fundamental principles of microbial evolution and design innovative approaches to fight against pathogens.

This four-year position is fully funded by an ERC consolidator grant.

Starting date: January 1, 2022.
