The Institute of Nursing Science (INS) at the University of Basel https://nursing.unibas.ch invites applications for PhD positions to join a large implementation science project in the residential long-term care setting. The INS is ranked in the top 50 for Nursing worldwide (Shanghai Ranking 2022). The positions will be anchored in the INTERSCALE project which aims to scale-up the nurse-led care model INTERCARE, a care model that successfully decreases unplanned hospitalizations in nursing homes. The project offers two PhD positions in a hybrid III cluster-randomized trial that compares two bundles of implementation strategies: one PhD position focuses on cost-effectiveness, the other on the impact on resident and organizational outcomes.
