The work will be performed using patient and healthy control liquid and tissue biopsies as well as human primary cell cultures. You will be working closely together preclinical and clinical researchers, computational biologists and biostatisticians with a mission to gain new insights to fibromyalgia pain pathology.
You will work in a creative, inspiring and vibrant research environment. You will be part of a research team that is dedicated to undertaking translational research with the ultimate goal to uncover cellular and molecular reasons behind pain chronicity and contribute to the improvement of life quality for individuals suffering from fibromyalgia
The appointment will be at the Karolinska Institutet. For more information please visit: http://ki.se/en/fyfa/molecular-pain-research
You will receive post-doctoral training in the laboratory of Prof Svensson, who will provide mentorship and opportunities for personal and professional development and a platform for building a future career in research.
