Job description

The Chemical Sensing Group is one of the largest groups at KTH, with approximately 20 researchers. We develop fundamental electrochemical and optical concepts to be integrated into ‘chemical sensors’ aiming to solve current problems in healthcare, environment, wellness, food among others. The objective of this postdoctoral positions is to strength the Electrochemical Wearable Sensing research line.

The work tasks include:

- Development of wearable chemical sensors

- Management of national and international (EU) projects

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline (With some exceptions for special reasons such as periods of sick or parental leave, kindly indicate if such reason exists in your resume).
  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Chemical Sensing, Microfabrication
  • Experience in wearable electrochemical sensing from fabrication to application.
  • Experience in manufacturing of epidermal patches and microneedles as wearable sensors

Preferred qualifications

  • Proven experience working in microneedles sensing and/or epidermal wearable sensors. In cover letter, specify which  articles correspond to the requested experience.

  • Good experience in writing scientific papers

Great emphasis will be placed on personal competency

About the employment
