Updated: about 1 year ago
Deadline: The position may have been removed or expired!

We conduct research and education in physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, industrial design engineering and didactics in mathematics and science education. We offer unique and world-leading research within the FSCN Research Centre and Sports Tech Research Centre.

The FSCN research center forms a strong research environment in materials and process technology. We work multidisciplinary and develop knowledge and technology that primarily enables resource-efficient processes, new or improved functionality of bio-based materials, and energy materials. Through close collaboration with companies, we stay updated on market needs and support the development of knowledge in the industry.

The research group in materials physics mainly researches nanomaterials for energy storage and energy conversion. For example, we develop materials and methods for triboelectric nanogenerators, and for large-scale production of graphene for supercapacitors and batteries. We are now looking for a doctoral student for research in triboelectric materials (theory and experiment).
