Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 21 May 2022

The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) is looking for a Postdoc Researcher to be part of the group working on Brassinosteroid signaling in plant development and adaption to climate change.

CRAG is an independent research institution engaged in leading-edge basic and applied plant and farm animal sciences. CRAG is established as a Consortium of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and University of Barcelona (UB). The Center is located at the UAB Campus, and currently hosts 200 members from across the world.

Research Programs at CRAG (from basic science to applied research using plant experimental model systems, crops and farm animals) make extensive use of genomic technologies and large sets of genetic and genomic data (https://biennialreport2016-2017.cragenomica.es/ ).

Responsabilities

  • Molecular understanding of Brassinosteroid signaling pathway.
  • Analysis of plant growth as developmental traits
  • Coordinate and supervise students

The Dr. Ana I. Caño Delgado Lab will be recruiting a motivated Postdoctoral Scientist to join different academic and translational Project in the lab to decipher the mechanisms for Brassinosteroid sgnaling in growth and adaptation to drought stress in Arabidopsis. The research will be framed within European Research Council project that was initiated on November 2016: ERC-COG-2015 project IDRICA (https://erc.europa.eu/projects-figures/erc-funded-projects/results?search_api_views_fulltext=IDRICA ).
