Postdoctoral Fellows positions (2) at the Metazoa Phylogenomics LAB (IBE) (# of pos: 2)

The Metazoa Phylogenomics Lab (www.metazomics.com ) led by Rosa Fernández is seeking two creative and highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to join our research team at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (CSIC-UPF) in Barcelona, Spain. Our laboratory is part of the Animal Biodiversity and Evolution Research Program at IBE, and it is part of the PRBB (www.prbb.org ). The project will investigate the genomic basis of terrestrialization across animals. The tasks include the generation and analysis of genomic and transcriptomic resources for nonmodel organisms in a phylogenomic context, as well as the generation and analysis of proteomics and single cell transcriptomics datasets

We are seeking to appoint two postdoctoral fellows with expertise in at least one of the following fields:

(i) Evolutionary genomics / Computational biology

(ii) Proteomics / Protein engineering

(iii) Single cell ‘omics’ / Spatial transcriptomics

We are also open to recrute scientists with other profiles to explore transdisciplinary research venues.
