POSTDOCTORAL CANDIDATE INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR A MSCA-IF IN NEUROSCIENCES

Clinical Psychology and Virtual Reality

Group and project information

Applicants will be integrated into the research group “VR-Psy Lab. VIRTUAL REALITY APPLICATIONS FOR CLINICAL AND HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY ”; (P.I. José Gutiérrez-Maldonado).

We have significant experience in the application of new technologies in clinical psychology and health; mainly Virtual Reality. Dr Gutiérrez is a member of the International Association of CyberPsychology, Training, and Rehabilitation, and of the editorial committee of Cyberpsychology, Behavior and Social Networking, which is in the first quartile of its group. He has been a member of the scientific committee of the CyberTherapy and CyberPsychology Conference for several years (http://www.e-therapy.info/ ). At the 2016 conference he was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, given by the Interactive Media Institute. He has been a member of the evaluation committee of research projects of the National R & D & I Plan for several years. He is among the 10 researchers worldwide with the most articles published on the topic "Virtual Therapy" (Scopus Keywords Analyze).

Requirements for candidates

Skills/Qualifications:

- PhD or equivalent (Recognised Researcher R2)

- Technical and scientific knowledge and experience in Virtual Reality technologies

Languages:

English: Excellent

Specific Requirements:

- Candidates must fulfilled eligibility MSCA criteria described in the Guide for Applicants

Working conditions

- Full time temporary contract

- Gross salary of about € 50,000

- Duration: ranging from 12 to 36 months depending on the typology of the fellow

- Starting date: flexible from beginning of May 2020
