 Requerid Education Level PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engieering or related fields

Formació preferent: Nanomaterials 

Required Education:

  • Capacity to perform the entire scientific process, from the design of hypothesis approach to the interpretation and report of results.
  • Materials synthesis for a variety of solid inorganic materials and nanoparticles through various synthesis procedures.
  • A strong understanding, working knowledge and extensive experience in characterisation of nanomaterials is a must.
  • Writing of scientific papers and research proposals

Required languages:

Speak, read and write English fluently.

Required Research Experiences:

A multidisciplinary experience in nanoscience and nanobiotechnology.

Chemical synthesis of biologically active compounds

Development of aerogel and thin film nanocomposites

Ability to perform in-vitro cytotoxic assays for validation of nanomaterials.

Perform product analysis and quantification using methods such as NMR, HRMS, UV-Vis, XRD, FTIR, TGA, SEM, TEM, XPS, BET, and electrochemical techniques (CV, FRA, and DPV).
