Updated: over 2 years ago
Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 15 Jan 2022

Candidates must hold a PhD degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biomedicine or related disciplines.
The successful candidate must be skilled and experienced in heterologous protein expression in prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems (insect and mammalian cells), protein purification and initial biochemical/biophysical characterization (SEC-MALLS, DLS, circular dichroism, DSF, ITC, SPR), and sample preparation for structural studies (crystallization, specimen vitrification for cryo-electron microscopy). The Fundación Biofísica Bizkaia in Bilbao (Basque Country in Spain) invites applications for an immediately available job in protein expression, purification and characterization for structural studies at the Biofisika Institute (www.biofisika.org ).

The Biofisika Institute is a joint research center of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
