Offer Description

Research duties at PhD Student level in the ERC Advanced Grant BAMBBI: Bio-inspired AntiMicrobial Bone BIoceramics: Deciphering contact-based biocidal mechanisms.

The candidate will focus on developing her PhD thesis on the development of advanced methods to obtain calcium phosphate based materials with nanostructured topographies, functionalized with antimicrobial peptides, and the physicochemical and biological characterization and validation of the developed surfaces.

  • Spoken, read and written English Spanish and/or Catalan will be a plus

Additional Information
Benefits

The doctoral tuition of the student will be covered by the project.

The initial contract will be for one year, renewable to up to four years.

The salary is competitive, in line with the Spanish national PhD grants.
