Offer Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, diligent young scientist with a keen interest in the immunobiology of cancer, to join the “Neoantigens and Vaccines against Cancer” group at IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute , located in Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol HUGTiP (Can Ruti Biomedical Campus, Badalona).

 

Job duties

• Activities related to the research project (e.g., Western Blot, RNA/DNA purification of tumor tissue, flow cytometry, T cell-based functional assays, including T cell cloning, transfection, and ELISpot, purification of peptide-HLA immunocomplexes)
• Maintaining detailed documentation of experimental work
• Maintaining close communication with PI regarding progress.
• Collaborating in the writing of scientific publications
• Presenting data within and outside the laboratory groups at meetings and symposia

Skills/Qualifications

Experience in cell culture and biochemistry/molecular biology techniques is a must Experience in immune cell-based assays, such as ELISpot, T cell cloning and culture, T cell cytotoxicity assays, flow cytometry and immunopeptidomic experiments is a plus. Good organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Candidate must be highly motivated and independent, with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment Ability to perform as a team member and have good interpersonal skills Bachelor’s mark higher than 7.5 Master’s mark higher than 8
