Offer Description
The Hospital del Mar Research Institute (https://www.imim.es/en_index.html ) is looking for a PhD student to join the Registre Gironí del Cor Research Group (https://regicor.cat/en/ ), led by Dr. Jaume Marrugat within the Research Program in Epidemiology and Public Health. The selected candidate will participate in large-scale research projects focused on cardiovascular epidemiology (https://cordeliaproject.net/ ).
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a leading research group in the field of cardiovascular epidemiology and contribute significantly to the knowledge and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. The successful candidate will enjoy a great work environment and the opportunity to learn and grow professionally.

Skills/Qualifications
It will be positively assessed:
• Knowledge and practice in data management and statistical analysis, with experience in the use of R software.
• Knowledge and practice in bioinformatics, especially in genetic analyses.
• High level of spoken and written English.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Academic record with an average grade above 8.
• Previous experience in other research groups.
Specific Requirements
Requirements:
• Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry or Biology.
• Master's degree in Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Public Health or Biomedicine.
