Offer Description
Key tasks for doctoral candidate:
Desing and development of new hybrid gel polymer electrolytes tunning the chemistry of the different components (polymer, salt, plasticizer, additive).
Physicochemical and thermal characterization by Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA).
Electrochemical characterization to understand the performance of developed electrolytes in solid-state batteries and the degradation mechanism, combined with interfaces analysis by Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).
Presenting results at international conferences.
Preparation of reports and papers for submission to peer reviewed journals
The candidate will belong to Organic and Hybrid Materials group and will collaborate in polymer solid-state batteries research line.
