Offer Description

The Tether Applied to Aerospace Engineering group has Coordinated several European projects on Electrodynamics tether like the EIC Pathfinder and Transition projects E.T.PACK and E.T.PACK-F. They allowed to prepare a flight-ready deorbit device that will be tested in 2025. Recently, the EIC granted the EIC Pathfinder E.T.COMPACT project to develop a more compact deorbit device based on a bare-photovoltaic tether. UC3M is open to receive CVs from potential candidates that would like to join our team and conduct research on electrodynamic tethers in the areas of mission analysis, attitude control, avionics, and ground segment.

We are open to receive interest from Ms. holders looking for an opportunity to develop a PhD with our group and from PhD researchers that would like to develop a postdoctoral contract.
