PhD in Catalysis in EIC Pathfinder European project

The Sustainable Process Engineering group (www.ehu.eus/en/web/supren/) at the University of Basque Country (Bilbao, Spain) is offering a 4-year PhD position under the guidance of Prof. Agirrezabal-Telleria. The position is funded by the EIC Pathfinder Open project entitled CATART: Reaction robot with intimate photocatalytic and separation functions in a 3-D network driven by artificial intelligence. The project gathers world-class research groups and companies from 6 European countries, aiming to design innovative photocatalytic materials for water-splitting or CO2 reduction, in combination with separation and catalytic functions optimized by artificial intelligence.


We seek a researcher with background preferably in catalysis, coordination chemistry, photocatalytic materials or testing, or related fields such as electrochemistry. The participation in such project is foreseen to have direct collaborations with renowned European research groups, enabling researchers to grow scientifically and achieve international recognition.
