Offer Description
- 1. To lead basic research using cell culture and molecular biology techniques in pediatric cancer and exercise research field.
- 2. Mentoring, supervising and training of personnel.
- 3. Conception and design of the experiments, including of new creative approaches aiming at discovery-driven research
- 4. Data analysis and interpretation of results.
- 5. Writing (grants and papers).

Skills/Qualifications
At least, 5–8 years of postdoctoral experience. Experience in different research fields, mobility, and previous obtainment of competitive funding (honors, awards and grants) will be valued.
Previous experience in immunology, as well as in lymphoma cell cultures, is mandatory, preferably in 3D structures involving different immune cell types, and in functional studies of these cells.
We will also value previous experience in molecular biology techniques (PCR, qPCR, Western blot, transfection, electroporation, electrophoresis, cloning, miniprep, maxiprep, ELISA, genetic edition…), immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, flow cytometry, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, and in mouse models (transgenic, cancer models, inflammation models…).
Experience in mentoring, supervising or training personnel, and scientific outreach is required.
Specific Requirements
Animal handling training course B and C.
Statistics, experimental design and multivariate analysis course.
Over five publications as a first-author in peer-
reviewed publications, and at least two publications as corresponding author. Contributions to international conferences and meetings will be considered.
Statistical analysis (Graphpad Prism, SPSS), image editing (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Flow Cytometry (Macsquantify, Infinicyt), LeicaApplication Suite X (LAS X).
