The group of Dr. Javier Montenegro is seeking for a Doctoral candidate with background in Organic Chemistry and/or supramolecular and peptide chemistry.
The aim of the project is to develop and investigate new biomolecular scaffolds with supramolecular folding capacities. Alpha helical peptides, coiled coils and self-assembling molecules
DESCRIPTION
The applicant will work on the development of novel organic molecules such as peptides, polymers and cages with dynamic supramolecular folding and functional capacities
REQUIREMENTS
We seek highly motivated candidates with initiative, creativity and team-working ability and with a diploma in Organic Chemistry, Peptide Chemistry, Supramolecular Chemistry.
Experience in chemical biology will be considered.
Good communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English are essential.

STARTING DATE AND TERM
Starting from Dec 2021 (flexibility in starting date), 1 year of contract with a potential extension with FPI fellowship (up to 4 years).
