Department of Social Sciences at Carlos III University of Madrid seek to appoint up to three (3) post-doctoral positions in political science in the areas of:
- Quantitative Methods in Political Science
- Public Policy Evaluation
The successful candidates will be offered affiliation with the Carlos III-Juan March Institute of Social Sciences (IC3JM) . The IC3JM promotes high quality research in the Social Sciences. It has a strong international profile and a very prestigious Scientific Council.
UC3M is a high-ranking young (founded in 1989) research-oriented public Spanish university. The Department of Social Sciences is an interdisciplinary department created in 2013. It covers, Political Science, Sociology, and Economic History. It is hosting the Carlos III – Juan March Institute and the Figuerola Institute of History and Social Sciences. Bachelor, Masters, and doctoral programs offered at the department are typically taught in English and attract applicants from all over Europe and beyond. At present members of the department include doctoral students, post-docs, assistant professors, and faculty from some 15 countries.
