Hlavné myšlienky (tézy) navrhovanej témy:

Dizertačná práca bude zameraná na skúmanie tribologických vlastností tenkých povlakov z hľadiska ich použitia v prevodových mechanizmoch. Cieľom bude analyzovať metódy používané pri vytváraní povlakov a vrstiev a vybrať vhodnú metódu pre vytvorenie povlaku zo zvoleného materiálu na vybraný základný materiál. Ďalej analyzovať parametre určujúce kvalitu vytvoreného povlaku a vybrať vhodnú metódu na experimentálne skúšky a meranie vybraných parametrov.  Na základe experimentov vyhodnotiť vybrané parametre a pomocou simulácie zistiť hodnoty parametrov kontaktného procesu. Prínosom dizertačnej práce bude zhodnotenie získaných teoretických a experimentálnych výsledkov z hľadiska posudzovania vhodnosti jednotlivých povlakov a stanovenia ich vplyvu na výsledné vlastnosti prevodových mechanizmov.

Main ideas of the proposed dissertation topic:

The dissertation will focus on the investigation of tribological properties of thin coatings in terms of their use in gear mechanisms. The aim will be to analyse the methods used in the formation of coatings and layers and to select a suitable method for the formation of a coating from a selected material on a selected base material. Furthermore, to analyse the parameters determining the quality of the formed coating and to select a suitable method for experimental tests and measurement of the selected parameters.  Based on the experiments, evaluate the selected parameters and use simulation to find out the values of the contact process parameters. The contribution of the dissertation will be the evaluation of the obtained theoretical and experimental results in terms of assessing the suitability of individual coatings and determining their influence on the resulting properties of the gear mechanisms.
