Factors of Sustainable Consumption of Healthy Foods in Children

Form of study: full-time/part-time
The PhD thesis will focus on identifying the economic, social, and environmental factors that shape sustainable dietary preferences and habits in children. The effects of policies on the sustainable consumption of healthy foods in children will also be assessed, using a theoretical framework from behavioral and environmental economics. A case study will be conducted in a selected country, utilizing panel data obtained from questionnaire surveys and data from available international databases. Panel data models and methods of dynamic counterfactual analysis will be applied. Based on the results, recommendations for more effective policies aimed at supporting a healthy and environmentally sustainable food system will be proposed. Topic for applicants for full time and part time study. Dissertation will be processed in Slovak language or in English language.
Faktory udržateľnej spotreby zdravých potravín u detí

Dizertačná práca sa bude zameriavať na identifikáciu ekonomických, sociálnych a environmentálnych faktorov, ktoré ovplyvňujú udržateľné stravovacie preferencie a návyky u detí. Hodnotený bude aj vplyv politík na udržateľnú spotrebu zdravých potravín u detí, s využitím teoretické poznatkov behaviorálnej a environmentálnej ekonómie. Realizovaná bude prípadová štúdia v vybranej krajine, pričom sa využijú panelové údaje získané z dotazníkových prieskumov a údaje z dostupných medzinárodných databáz. Aplikované budú modely panelových údajov a metódy dynamickej kontrafaktuálnej analýzy. Na základe výsledkov budú navrhnuté odporúčania pre efektívnejšie politiky zamerané na podporu zdravého a environmentálne udržateľného potravinového systému. Téma pre uchádzačov o dennú a externú formu štúdia. Dizertačná práca sa bude spracovávať v slovenskom jazyku alebo v anglickom jazyku.
