Topic: Late Miocene Paleoecology and Paleoclimate evolution in Northern part of Central Paratethys
Case study of ecological and climatic development of the northern part of the Central Paratethys during Miocene Climate Transition (MCT) based on paleobotanical research methods, specifically on paleopalynology, pollen and palynofacial analysis, IPR analysis (paleoecological method), Coexistence Analysis (quantified paleoclimatic data) applied on sedimentary infill dated by cosmogenic nuclides or biostratigraphically. The applicant must have practical knowledge of palynological theoretical and laboratory procedures, basics of (angiosperm) pollen taxonomy.

possibility to apply three - four time during the study for University grant for young researchers, Erasmus+ mobility,

University dormitories guaranted for the first year doctoral students
