The Senior Executive will support the PhD Programme Office in the development, design, delivery, performance monitoring and review of PhD programme, in collaboration with other key staff, external and internal stakeholders. The individual will be required to contribute to the administering of the research (PhD) programme.
Responsibilities:
Administer admissions workflow through collaboration with NTU and internal stakeholders – arrange interviews, collate Conflict of Interest, prepare interview files, set up and host video conferencing (zoom) interviews, consolidate interview scores.
Coordinate curriculum timetable and manage course registration.
Arrange logistics for classes, continual assessments, and examinations including Qualifying exams and Oral exams.
Coordinate with partners (overseas and local) on placements for student attachments for Global health Awareness Attachment and Clinical Awareness Attachment.
Assist in setting up student feedback system to collect responses for all PhD courses each semester.
Track catering and other curriculum delivery expenses
Maintain and upkeep the information in students’ spreadsheet/ University database including leave of absence records
Provide support and secretarial duties to PhD team when necessary
Requirements:
A recognised degree, with at least one year of relevant experience
Experience in education administration and operations will be a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office apps, particularly Microsoft Excel
A positive attitude, an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task
