Research Assistant - PhD student

The "Petru Poni" Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Iasi, announces the competition for part-time position (8 hrs/month) as Research Assistant (PhD student) in the framework of the project "Anthocyanins entrapped in polysaccharide-based materials for designing smart food eco-packaging" (code PN-III-P1-1.1-TE-2021-1683, contract no. TE 6/04.05.2022, project leader Dr. Irina Elena Raschip) granted by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization, CNCS – UEFISCDI, within PNCDI III. The successful candidate will be involved in the extraction, purification and preservation of bioactive compounds resulting from various plant materials as well as in the characterization of bioactive compounds by analytical methods.

Eligibility criteria

The successful candidate must:

- Be enrolled in a doctoral program in field of chemistry;

- Demonstrate advanced English language skills;

- Have theoretical and practical knowledge on the extraction, purification and preservation of bioactive compounds resulting from various plant materials;

- Knowledge in characterization of bioactive compounds by analytical methods is considered an advantage;

- Have practical skills in using computer software;

- Be motivated and creative, with advanced communication and teamwork skills.

Selection process

File selection (eliminatory): will be graded from 1 to 10

Interview: will be graded from 1 to 10.

Classification will be made according to the final grade (from highest to lowest).
