Summary: Two (2) research positions for a Research Grant (“Bolsa de Investigação”) are open at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in the scope of the Project MH-SDVANET (PTDC/EEI-COM/5284/20), funded by FCT/MEC through national funds. The work for these positions is in the area of SDN architectures for mobile networks.

Group: Network Architectures and Protocols – Av
Work Objectives: Position 1 - Network mechanisms for SDN controller and control plane coordination
Position 2 - Network mechanisms related with edge connectivity and data plane coordination
Place of work: The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações at University of Aveiro, under the supervision of Prof. Miguel Luís.
Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of renewal. Start date: February 2022 or soon thereafter.
Required Documents: Motivation letter explaining the interest in the position, Detailed Curriculum Vitae with transcripts, degree certificate, and proof of enrollment in a higher education course. Note: Proof of enrollment in a study cycle must be presented when signing the contract.
